Freelance Associate Creative Director, New York. Nine years in advertising, branding and music, at agencies and on my own.
Fine art background. I can take a thing from a napkin to a finished piece by myself, but the good stuff never happened that way.
Most recent awarded work is a nudist pickleball spot for a diabetes device. Every word of it came from a real insight. My ad targeting has never recovered.
I've made headpieces for a Smashing Pumpkins video and album covers for artists who don't have a label telling them what the cover should be. I also own Nine Lives Social Club, a speakeasy in Orange County, NY, for people who work in music, food and art. No social media. That's the point.
Before this I sold real estate in New York. That's where I learned to pitch a hostile room, get yelled at by famous people, and make peace with the fact that someone will always have more money than you. There was a reality show appearance. Five of my fifteen minutes, gone.
I work fast and I don't pad decks.
Taking freelance ACD work in advertising, branding and music. DMs open.
And get out of the East River. We've all had our once-in-a-lifetime pandemic.
